This area is situated 13km from Kuala Lumpur city. It is formation of lime-stone caves existed existing more than a 100 years ago whereas the cave interior shows wonderful formations of stalactite and stalagmite with heights up to a 100 metre.

IIt is more popular among Hindus which held their Thaipusam celebrations here yearly where-about close to one million Hindu devotees will come to Batu Caves. To reach the Batu Caves entrance summit, one has to climb a total of 272 steps. In spite of this, one will enjoy spectacular views from the stairs summit and the wonderful cave interior that has attracted many tourists from local and abroad.
